Registration, Tuition and Refund Policy

Registration Period & Term Schedule

Fall 2026 (Weekend Program): September 12, 2026 – January 16, 2027 (16 classes)

Spring 2027 (Weekend Program): January 30, 2027 – June 12, 2027 (16 classes)

 

Class Location:

Weekend Classes: 2001 98th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98004 (Chinook Middle School)

 

Class Time:

9:00 AM – 10:50 AM (Chinese Language Classes)

11:00 AM – 11:50 AM (Math & Enrichment Classes)

12:00 PM – 1:50 PM (Chinese Language Classes)

Registration

  • All registrations must be completed online through the school website. Please visit the Registration Website to sign up.

  • The registration system supports payment via PayPal and Zelle.

  • Check and cash are accepted at admin desk.

  • Textbook fees are not included in tuition.

The school does not offer free trial classes. Students must complete registration and tuition payment before attending class.

The first two weeks of the semester serve as an adjustment period for families to determine whether the selected class is a good fit.

Class Change

  • Weeks 1–2: Class changes are allowed, subject to space availability. No processing fee applies.

  • Weeks 3–4: Class changes are subject to school approval, space availability, and a $10 processing fee.

  • After Week 4: No class changes are allowed.

  • No fee will be charged for class changes initiated or recommended by the school due to placement, class cancellation, scheduling, or other school-related reasons.

Withdrawal

  • Withdrawal requests must be submitted to admin@nwchinese.org in writing.

  • The withdrawal date is the date the school receives the request, not the student's last day of attendance.

  • Simply not attending class does not count as withdrawal.

Refund

  • Weeks 1–2: Tuition is refundable, less a $20 administrative fee.

  • The $20 administrative fee is charged once per student per withdrawal request, regardless of how many classes are withdrawn at the same time.

  • Beginning in Week 3: No tuition refunds will be issued.

  • Textbook and material fees are non-refundable once materials have been distributed or used.

  • No refunds will be issued for missed classes due to personal reasons.

Administrative Fees

  • Withdrawal during Weeks 1–2: $20 per student per withdrawal request

  • Class change during Weeks 3–4: $10 per approved class change

  • School-initiated or school-recommended changes: No fee

School Cancellation

  • The school reserves the right to cancel, combine, or adjust classes due to enrollment, staffing, facility, scheduling, or other operational needs.

  • If the school cancels a class and the student does not transfer to another class, the affected tuition will be refunded in full with no administrative fee.

  • The school may review exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
