High School Foreign Language Course Credit

NWCS is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS). Students who learn Chinese language at NWCS will be able to receive high school world language course credits.

Requirement

  • A student must complete three years of Chinese language study at NWCS, covering grades 7, 8, and 9.

  • A minimum grade of C or higher must be maintained in each of these three years.

How to apply

  • The student initiates process by submitting an application with his/her report cards to NWCS

  • Based on the student’s application, the school will issue an official letter along with a transcript.

  • The student is responsible for sending these documents to the intended school.

  • Each student may receive up to two years of foreign language credits (Two Credits).

Northwest Chinese School cannot guarantee that every student’s credits will be accepted by their high school. We encourage students and parents to contact their school district office for confirmation. Our school will make every effort to provide assistance.
