一、本周六（2018年3月17日）是西北中文学校本学年春季新学期的第六周，所有班级都照课表正常上课。随着天气的转暖，NHS的课外活动有所增加，周末停车问题也逐渐突出。仍有少数家长不顾提醒在靠近教学楼的转弯区或是短时卸载区停车等人或停留过久，造成了交通堵塞。请大家在孩子下车后一定要立即把车开走，这样才能保持交通的畅通。
This Saturday, March 17th, 2018, will be our school's sixth week of this semester. All NWCS classes will follow regular schedules as defined in our new NWCS school calendar. With warmer weather and increased campus activities, the campus parking issue reemerged. Please do not park your car at the roundabouts or loading/unloading zone (the area closer to the Main school building) so the traffic would not be blocked.
二、另外，我们刚刚接到NHS校方通知，本周末他们学校正在准备一个老师专业发展方面的展览，有些展品就放置在学校一楼楼梯和过道附近，希望各位老师家长提醒孩子们不要用手去碰任何展品以免造成损坏。谢谢大家的合作！
On this weekend there will be an exhibit that the NHS Professional Development Team will be leaving out on the first floor by the stairs and main offices of the school. The organizers wanted to let our students and parents know that you are welcome to read the information on the exhibit but please leave this display on display without being disturbed. Thanks for your cooperation!

四、西北中文学校夏令营可以为我校现任高中生提供暑期实习机会，希望有兴趣的高中生应聘我校夏令营英文、科学和武术老师以锻炼自己的领导和组织能力。
应聘要求如下：1、现任10-12年级高中生，成绩优良，动手能力强；2、热爱孩子，之前有和孩子相处经验者优先考虑；3、实习时间可以保证（每周一，二，三下午2：00-6：00）。有兴趣者请于05/16日前将简历寄到admin@nwchinese.org
Our Summer Day Camp is now searching for some high school student volunteers to teach English, Science and Martial Arts classes. It is a great opportunity to practice your leadership and organization skills. If you are interested, please send your resume to admin@nwchinese.org before May 16th.
五、今年暑假期间我校将继续在Bellevue分校推出一系列数学和计算机精品课程，包括：计算机初级编程班，SAT数学班，初中几何辅导班，初中代数辅导班，奥数辅导班等。上课时间：06/23/2018 – 09/12/2018。课程介绍以及学费详情等请参见链接 http://www.nwchinese.org/newsite/summer-academic-courses 。小班教学，名额有限，请大家尽早报名。
本周我们将重点介绍其中的计算机初级编程班：应大家的强烈要求，我们特意在暑期再次开办计算机初级编程班。本课程通过短期的集中训练来帮助学生初步快速掌握JAVA编程，并通过动手实践把学生领入奇妙的计算机编程世界。课程时间：六次两小时的课，06/11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28 （6:30 pm to 8:30 pm）。为了保证课程质量，报名本课程的同学将要接受面试。
This summer our school will continue to offer a series of great summer programs at Downtown Bellevue branch, which include programs such as Basic Programming Summer Course, SAT math summer course, Math Olympic (AMC 8) Training Class and (AMC 10/12) Training Class etc. Date: 06/23/2018-09/12/2018, Monday through Saturday. This week we will introduce to you our Basic Programming Summer Course：
The course is designed to guide students in learning Java programming from the ground up. The six-day course with two-hour each day intends to inspire students to think “programmatically” when they solve interesting problems. Students will get enough opportunity to be hands-on with programming in Java and get themselves familiar with Java language by using Eclipse to create small applications. After taking the 12-hour course, students will learn how to setup Java development environment and get ready to create basic level of Java application. Students will also learn math counting and its application to computer programming. The level in this course is between introductory and intermediate. Class Time: 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm (Monday and Thursday for three weeks) Number of Sessions: 6 (June 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28)
Course Requirements：Every student needs to bring a laptop with Java development tool (i.e. Eclipse) installed. Students who want to take this course are passionate about computer technology. To make sure students receive good quality of study results, students will be interviewed before their registrations can be accepted.
六、本周五（03/16）和下周一（03/19）Bellevue学区放假，DT Bellevue分校区提供学生托管服务，请有需求的家长尽快联系报名206-422-8476（或电邮Bellevue.manager@nwchinese.org）。
Our DT Bellevue branch will provide Child Care service this Friday (03/16) and next Monday (03/19) when Bellevue school district has no school. Please contact 206-422-8476 (or email Bellevue.manager@nwchinese.org) for registration if you have an interest.
