Dear NWCS Families and Teachers:

It is a great honor for me to have the opportunity to serve all NWCS families and teachers this coming school year as PTA chairman. Northwest Chinese School PTA (Parents and Teachers Association) has served students, parents and teachers in the past, helping plan and organize events, parties and picnics. We will carry on this tradition.

I would like to welcome our families and teachers to the new school year in a new campus! PTA will continue to support the school in organizing activities throughout the year, improving our educational environment, and promoting the Chinese cultural awareness. Here are some of our goals for this year:

• To provide security during school hours in the new campus
• To help school organize holiday parties, picnic and events
• To provide activities (eg. Seminars) for patents
• To continue fund raising efforts to provide funding for students in each class
• To provide communication channels for parents

Your monetary contributions and volunteer hours have made possible for the school to grow to what it is today. I encourage your continuous support and participation in the school. Your contribution is what helps our kids shine!
